Tianna and Jacob

There has been no sign of Tianna, her daughters, or Jacob. When Kahny puts his ear to the ground he finds out that she hasn’t contacted any of her friends or neighbors and some of them are very worried about her and the girls. A few of her neighbors seem to believe that she has gotten herself into trouble and it is most certainly that young Jacob’s fault, in fact, they knew he was bad news from the start.

Lord Violet and Dimitri

You are unable to get ahold of Lord Violet. When Sabina contacts her intel connection again he informs her that Lord Violet died in a failed prison bust. She was attempting to break Dimitri out of the Elsinburg Prison. He can also tell her that the Dimitri is dead.

In your search for Lord Violet, Alexander noticed that the mechanik’s shop used for travel into and out of the city via the tunnel was demolished. This is the only tunnel out of the city you know about that will allow for steamjack travel.

Due to the demolished workshop, Lay’fon took a quick jaunt over the wall one evening, and found that the Plague marked mechanik shop at the end of the tunnel and the warehouse safehouse were both little more than craters.

Your knowledge of the inner workings of the Resistance would tell you that the Dregs were probably the pervue of Dimitri, and when he was interogated he buckled under presure. The fact that nobody has come after your safe house, leads you to believe that he didn’t know about it, and that Lord Violet was either killed before she could be interogated, or didn’t give you up if she was.

The Wall Safe…

As you all sat down to plan out the wall safe heist, Seastnan made an offhand comment about the new Kapitan not finding the safe. Everyone stared at him for a few seconds before getting up as one and finding something else to do. There was no way the new Kapitan didn’t find that safe when she moved into the office.

Discovering a Mole
Session 4

At a loss for where to begin, the PCs began setting up cover identities for themselves in case they needed to infiltrate the local Khadoran guard stations. Sebina contacted one of her old friends in the Llaelese intelligence network and bounced a few questions off of him. This gave her the idea of searching through Kapitan Gregori’s notes.

Seeing as how the Kapitan had been dead a few days, the notes were probably not residing in his office, and were probably filed in the garrison archives. The group devised a plan to get those notes. They also managed to con several hundred gold pieces worth of equipment and armor from various Khadoran armories throughout the city.

After breaking a surprisingly complicated code, the group had a lead on the Mole, and another possible target of the Kapitan, and some loot.

Tianna Lys, was listed as a font of information that lead to the PCs capture, as well as the name and address of another resistance soldier, Dimitri Rysvisi. While investigating Tianna, Kahny unfortunately managed to wake up one of the sleeping children, and she disappeared that night. The next day while investigating the bakery, Kahnny engaged in a conversation with Jacob Instymari, who advised him to stay away from her, and the girls.

A few of the group went to check on Dimitri, but found only a burned down building where his address was supposed to be, and also noticed charring and craters in other buildings around the area. New construction had already been started. A few questions lead them to believe the fight had occurred at least a week ago.

As far as the loot, they found a substantial stash of Llaelese wine under the garage of the late Kapitan. His notes also alluded to a stash of gold in his office, but that has probably been found by the new resident.

Rolling into Elsinberg
Session 3

Arriving in the outskirts of Elsinburg the group headed directly for the safe house located in the The Dregs. They were met with other resistance soldiers and asked to wait until Lord Violet could be contacted.

Once darkness fell, the group was lead to another location and then into a dark tunnel under the city. They were told they would be met in the morning and to wait. The next morning they were met by Lord Violet who explained the city was currently under martial law and that she had reason to believe there was a mole in her organization. She showed them to Wythsten Coal Distribution Warehouse, a resistance safe house.

She has asked the PCs to find out who this mole is, and to deal with it. The only lead she has was garnered from the prisoners the PCs brought in. The operation that ended with the PCs on the train was orchestrated by Kapitan Gregori, the man in charge of the Norther Elsinberg Garrison.

The PCs went into information gathering mode and found out where Kapitan Gregori lived and infiltrated his house. They found an abused maid, as well as about 300gc worth of loot. Unfortunately there was no information regarding his work or any resistance informants. The maid commented that he never brought his work home, probably because he didn’t trust her.

The PCs decided to try and take Gregori and beat the information out of him. The fight was a bit harder than anticipated, but they managed to subdue the Kapitan, but not before significant damage was done to the estate, and the guards were informed. Under cover of darkness the PCs escaped before the guards could reach the scene.

The group hid out in a resistance sympathizers basement until the guards had moved on, and then proceeded back to their safe house. Unfortunately Kapitan Gregori, proved to be unbreakable and no information was able to be garnered from him.

The Story Thus Far
First 2 Sessions
Session 1: Escape

The group awoke in an overturned rail car, fire and smoke burned their eyes as the gathered their scattered belongings and attempted to figure out where and why they were Unfortunately, there wasn’t much time for conversation as Khadoran soldiers attempted to silence their would be prisoners.

Knowing that they were all at least on the same team, the group quickly banded together and overtook their Khadoran guard. Knowing that there was fighting going on both up and down the tracks, the party decided to stick around and loot the fallen Khadoran soldiers, until another squad came upon them. Dispatching these with even more ease, the party headed north after one of the party saw that there are ’Jacks fighting in that direction.

The scene at the engineering cars was one of utter defeat, for the Khadorans, they were already pinned down inside two cars, while their berserker took on two light ‘jacks, outside of it’s marshal’s command range. The Resistance easily overcame the Khadorans once the PC’s joined in the fray.

The group agreed to take charge of the prisoners after speaking with Sargent Tyriosi and were informed that they should speak with Lord Violet as soon as they could get back to Elsinburg. The Sargent gave them a couple of wagons, about a quarter ton of coal, and horses to pull it all for their trip.

Kahny took a heavy round to the arm, and it broke… his arm, not the round.

Session 2: The Road

The party agreed to take the farm roads instead of the main road, even though it would mean adding at least 3 days to the trip. The plan was to try and minimize the amount of Khadoran patrols they would run into. It seemed to have worked, they met with Gloin Livesteal and camped with him for a night, and chased off a group of bandits.

They also managed to find a scrapped Berserker Warjack, a beat up Cygnaran Longarm, and a hidden cache of weapons and rations at the Old Mvorschka Manse.

On the last day of travel, they ran into a Squad of Khadoran Soldiers, with a Doomreaver attachment. The ambush took less than a minute, and they added 4 prisoners to their march.

Seastnan took an Assault Shield to the face, crushing the orbital socket and destroying the eye.
